Sales Development Account Manager Needed

Radiant is an experience company focused on original video, podcasts, digital and physical subscriptions, and supporting content. The company believes in constantly prototyping and launching new innovative products that directly solve customer problems. Radiant also fills the innovative digital role of a broader legacy media organization with a major newspaper, NBC-affiliate TV station and many radio stations.

We are currently seeking a Sales Development Account Manager (SDAM), to join our national sponsorship sales team in Salt Lake City. The SDAM will support the national sponsorship team pre, during and post sales process.  The SDAM will be a self-starter with experience in a media agency or in digital media sales support.  This position will be located in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Responsibilities include:

  • Work closely with national sponsorship sales team in supporting sales process pre, during and post-sale
  • Conduct research on national brand target accounts to uncover key initiatives, current media programs etc., key contacts and contact info
  • Be the sales and sales marketing team's communication link across Radiant departments to support our remote sales force
  • Help with outreach to potential clients and their agencies to set-up meetings/conference call
  • Work with sales marketing to conduct ideation for client thought starters and sales proposals
  • Work with sales marketing to create sales materials needed to position and sell Famifi
  • Work with sales directors to create and customize sales presentations and proposals for potential clients/agencies
  • Work with sales directors and client to secure creative materials and approvals post buy
  • Work with internal teams to ensure all inventory/plans are booked accurately and/or custom content is developed and implemented according to the agreed upon timeline
  • Provide support to the Sales team in the pre and post buy stewardship process
  • Provide campaign results according to the agreed upon timeline during the campaign and create and provide a post-campaign recap
  • Generate, track and distribute assigned reports, as specified by management
  • Manage and maintain consistent relationships with any 3rd Party Vendors
  • Assist with various projects and assignments as assigned (brand research, competitive research etc.)
  • Must be available and willing to maintain attendance, to work such hours (including outside normal business hours, when required)

Requirements:

  • Must have very strong organizational, interpersonal & communications skills including high level writing skills
  • A strong math and preferably media math skill set
  • Must be able to learn new skills quickly and must be a team-player
  • Requires strong computer and Internet skills including proficiency with the following software: Excel, Word, Keynote, Slack and Salesforce
  • Minimum of 1 (one) year working experience in either Online Agency Planning/Buying or Online Ad Sales Support
  • Experience working with/knowledge of SalesForce or equivalent a plus
  • Bachelor's Degree
